Gaviotta’s Story
“I started my favorite polo pony, who is too cool for words but old enough to vote, on Wellpride at the beginning of the season in an effort to keep her playing one more year. She has navicular issues and the accumulated injuries of a former high goal pony, and most years she was lame as often as she was sound.
This summer her coat got shiny (never before!), she hasn’t missed a game and is so raring to go she pops up if I hold her back. She is focused and brave and so eager to play I see no reason she can’t come back next year. The change was so dramatic we put four of our string of five on Wellpride and my husband and I just finished our first bottle of Omega Cure. The photo is me on Gaviotta, pre-Wellpride, alas.”
